The treasure consists of four silver spoons, two pieces of silver goblet and silver bell salt. All of these items were found in 2008, just a few hundred yards from Stoway Court in Somerset, a local who locals say was active during the English Civil War (1642-1651). The silverware is hallmarked and dates to the early 1600s and has the initials "CGA," which may indicate a connection to one of Stowaway Court's residents, Charles Angell Gray. The treasure was probably buried during a crisis during the war, and unfortunately for its owner, it was never found. The treasure is now in the Somerset Museum.
