La Blanche Pierre Hoard

A Late Bronze Age treasure from Clos de la Blanche Pierre, St. Lawrence, Jersey was discovered in 1976. The treasure was found in a pot, and the broken objects consisted of weapons, axes, tools, jewelry, and casting fragments, dated to Bronze Final II ( 10th century BC) and represent the only material of this type still found in the Channel Islands. These objects are directly comparable to those of the Saint-Brieuc-de-Iffe industry in Brittany and the Wilburton complex in England, as well as being associated with other industries in the Atlantic West. Detailed metal analysis of the sites confirms their proximity to industries in northwestern France.
