A barrel-shaped silver pendant bead with two single and two double filigree wires superimposed around it, and one at each end, connected by a loop-in-loop chain to a hinge axis with a pin from a brooch, of which only the hinge mount for the pin is preserved, made from a folded strip. The bead is pierced with a small hole on one side and has a loop on each end, suggesting that it was originally connected by another chain to a second, matching brooch, forming a set; hacksaw silver.
