Malmo Chocolate Factory

Malmö Chokladfabrik is a Swedish chocolate producer founded in 2004. Previously the chocolate was produced in the old house Mazetti, but in 2014 they moved from the building to more modern premises. However, the Mazetti house has a shop and a chocolate museum. The Mazettieran heritage lives on individual recipes, such as the Malmö Master Blend chocolate cake.

Malmö Chocolate Factory produces allergen-free chocolate (although milk chocolate contains milk and lactose). They do not use soybeans, nuts, gluten, etc. in their production.

Awards

In 2016 the company received many international awards for its chocolate. 7 medals at the International Chocolate Awards Scandinavia, 2 medals at the Academy of Chocolate, 2 medals at the European semi-finals of the International Chocolate Awards, and they were also awarded 9 awards at the British Great Taste Awards. In the World Cup final, the company was awarded with the World Cup silver and the World Cup bronze. Also in 2017 Malmo Chocolate Factory received a number of international awards, for example, six British Great Taste Awards.

Malmö Chocolate Factory's design has also attracted attention in recent years. Pentaward awarded Malmö Chocolate Factory (and its design agency Pond Design) gold in the Food - Candy and Sweets class in 2018, and the same design was also awarded gold by its Swedish colleague the Swedish Design Award (also 2018). Another product was nominated for the same award in 2017 and also received international attention (named "Best Week" by the famous design website Dieline).
