Örebro Kunsthall , ÖBKHL, is a gallery of contemporary art with temporary exhibitions of sculptures, installations, paintings and performance in Örebro . The art hall is free to the public and is financed by the municipality of Örebro . It is located in the Central Palace in the premises where banking transactions were previously carried out. Therefore, there is a dark vault in the basement, which usually hosts special exhibitions. On the ground floor there is a small shop with books on art and gifts. In mid-2006, the gallery was adapted for the disabled by adding a special ramp at the entrance. This led to the disappearance of two parking spaces in the street.
