The Biological Museum, Orebro

The Biological Museum appeared when the house "Siberia" was built in 1864. The museum was decorated in a special room, a natural closet, where you can store and exhibit herbaria, stuffed birds and other collections of natural history.

When image, photography and film entered the school world at the beginning of the decade, many collections in Sweden were considered redundant and disappeared in different ways. Similar museums were used for other activities, but the Carolingian Secondary School Biological Museum has largely escaped serious destruction and, after reconstruction in the 1970s, is one of the best preserved educational museums in Sweden.
