The Ehrensvard Museum

The Ehrensvard Museum is a special museum located in Suomenlinna. The museum is located in Susisaari Castle. It is located in the former apartment of the Castle Commandant. The museum was opened in 1930. The museum is decorated to tell you what the apartment of the commander of the castle looked like in the 18th century. The exhibits include portraits, weapons and models of ships in the archipelago. In front of the museum is the tomb of Augustine Ehrensvard. The museum is managed by Suomenlinna and supported by the Ehrensvard Society, which founded the museum in 1927.
